JAMMU, Mar 18: CMD, NHPC AK Singh, and Janardan Choudhary, Director (Technical), NHPC along with team from Renewable Energy Division, NHPC a series of meetings with senior Telangana State dignitaries to discuss NHPC’s intentions for development of techno-commercially viable Solar Power Projects in Telegana State.
During their visit, CMD NHPC and Director (Technical) NHPC held discussions with Ajay Mishra, Special Chief Secretary, Energy Department, Government of Telangana, Prabhakar Rao, CMD, TSTRANSCO and other top Government functionaries on the possibilities of cooperation in the Renewable Energy in Telangana.
CMD NHPC also met N Janaiah, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) along with G Prasad, General Manager, TSREDCO and Ramakrishna, Project Director, TSREDCO and held discussions regarding development of Floating Solar, Ground Mounted and Canal Top Solar projects in association with TSREDCO.
CMD NHPC lauded the commendable efforts of engineers of TSTRANSCO for bringing out a paradigm shift in the Energy Sector of Telangana within a short span of time. He also conveyed that NHPC has concept to commissioning capabilities of constructing Hydropower projects in remotest parts of the nation and has a very young and dynamic team of engineers contributing in Nation building.
