UDHAMPUR, Apr 1: To highlight their problems and issues effectively, the Rehri and Phari unions have constituted a co-ordination committee and elected its office bearers.
Hans Raj Thakur has been unanimously elected as chairman of the committee with 11 working committee members, comprising Yash Pal Gupta, Babu Ram Gupta, Rajesh Kumar, Ved Parkash, Dev Raj, Lalit Kumar, Rajan Gupta, Girdhari Lal, Dayan Singh, Parkash Singh and Om Parkash.
The co-ordination committee was constituted during a joint meeting of Rehri and Phari unions, held here today, wherein various issues and demands of the vendors were also highlighted.
The meet urged district administration to give them 20 percent quota in allotment of newly constructed shops by the Municipal Council on low rates.
