UDHAMPUR, Apr 1: Three organisations of teachers in district Udhampur today announced their merger in Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum.
The merging organizations include United Teachers Federation led by Ram Parshad, All J&K Ladakh Teachers Federation led by Sanjay Baria and Low Paid Teachers Association led by Ravinder Tripathi.
The merger was announced during a district level conference of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum, held here today, under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria.
On the occasion, a seven-member body of the Forum for district Udhampur was constituted with Surinder Sharma as president, Ravi Padha as senior vice-president, Chaman Lal as general secretary, Kewal Krishan as secretary, Ravinder Tripathi as chief organizer and Satveer Choudhary as organizer.
