SAMBA, Mar 20: Ramgarh police rescued a kidnapped married lady and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, written complaint was received at Police Station Ramgarh by the man stating that his wife has been kidnapped by an unknown person.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 21/2020 under section 366 IPC was registered at Police Station Ramgarh and search was started to trace out the kidnapped lady.
With strenuous efforts, a team from Police Station Ramgarh headed by SHO Ramgarh traced out the kidnapped lady and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Hardeep Singh, son of Gulzar Singh of Kirpind Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu from Nandpur, Ramgarh District Samba.
The lady was produced in the Court and statement was recorded. Later, the lady was sent to Nari Niketan Jammu by the order of court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
