JAMMU, Mar 24: In view of COVID19 pandemic which has caused a paucity of hand-sanitizers in the market, a dedicated team of researchers from IIT Jammu has successfully produced a cost-effective hand sanitizer as per the guidelines laid down by the WHO.
The team has prepared 30 liters of hand sanitizers and is prepared to create more with the available raw material.
The team was led by Dr. Pankaj Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, IIT Jammu.
The team of researchers included the PhD scholars at IIT Jammu. Namrata, Yaseen, Dipak and Tamanna.
