JAMMU, Mar 27: National Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of NCP Youth Wing, Er Rishi Kaul Kilam today expressed concern over the pitiable living condition of majority of Kashmiri migrants putting up at Jagti township or elsewhere and urged the Government to do justice with them.
In a statement, Er Rishi appreciated that the Central Government was spending millions of rupees for the welfare of the poor but, he added: At the same time we raise finger on the callous attitude of the Centre and J&K administration towards the Kashmiri migrants who are living below poverty line and dependent on financial aids.
“There are majority of KP migrants who have absolutely no money or other source of income except the insufficient financial aid from the Government. They are living hand to mouth with patience and still don’t shout or come on streets,” he said and added that silence of the KP migrants should not be taken for granted and their genuine issues must be looked into and addressed on war footing.
