JAMMU, Mar 27: In the wake of lockdown due to Coronavirus pandemic and for broader interest of academics, Prof R K Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) of Jammu has urged all Deans of the University to ensure that teaching may be started through on-line mode.
He instructed that all Deans should remain in touch with their respective Head of Divisions, who shall periodically monitor online engagement of faculty with students through various digital modes/platforms in best interest of academics despite un-avoidable disruptions.
“All teaching / non-teaching staff and students shall show strict compliance to the orders issued in this regard by the Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Government of Jammu & Kashmir from time to time and latest vide No. DCJ/PS/2019-20/12-24-1229 dated 25-03-2020, Government Order No. 421-JK (GAD) of 2020 Dated: 25-03-2020 respectively, besides guidelines issued by others from time to time,” said the VC.
