RAJOURI, Apr 2: The police today recovered a minor girl who was kidnapped by a driver from Thana Mandi area few days back.
The girl a student of 10th class was recovered by police from Janipur area of Jammu today. The police arrested the accused Farooq Raja, son of Allah Rakha of Dandesar village in Nowshera and restored the girl Zarina ( name changed), daughter of Mohd Farooq of Fatehpur to the family.
Meanwhile, police arrested a 12th class student on the charge of kidnapping a 26-year-old married woman from Kishtwar area. The woman had strained relations with husband and was staying with her parents at Gohlad in Mendhar. The accused is identified as Imran son of Mohd Ameen, resident of Lasana. The police arrested him and registered a case in this connection.
