JAMMU, Apr 2: The BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha state president Surinder Bhagat and state general secretary Puran Chand Bhagat organized a function at Party Headquarters here today.
BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma and Leader of Legislature Party & National Executive Member Ashok Khajuria were among others who attended the function. They also welcomed the new entrants into the Party who joined it under the leadership of Amarjeet. The senior leaders of Party Bansi Lal Bharti, Chaman Lal Kanathia, N.D. Rajwal and Balwan Singh also welcomed them.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, on this occasion, said that the Congress has been exploiting the SCs since 1947 for vote bank politics and did nothing in practical for their welfare and upliftment. He said that the members of SC community have now realized that it is not Congress or regional parties like NC and PDP but only BJP which works towards the welfare of the weaker sections of the society.
Ashok Khajuria said that the BJP is committed for equal respect and treatment to all the religions, regions and different sections. “Our party works on the principle of justice to all and appeasement to none, he said and added that SCs, STs and other sections look towards BJP and people from other weaker sections are coming forward to work for this party as a mission of life.
Surinder Bhagat said that the BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha has decided to reach the different communities of SCs and educate them about the policies and programmes of the Party.
