Jammu, Apr 3: Online booking of helicopter tickets for annual Shri Amarnath pilgrimage shall begin from April 20.
“Online booking for the helicopter tickets from this years Amarnath Yatra will commence from April 20 from 1000 hrs,” Navin K Choudhary, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board in a statement issued here said.
He said the board has made arrangements with M/s Global Vectra Pvt Ltd and M/s Himalayan Heli Services Pvt Ltd for providing services on Baltal-Panjtarni-Baltal Sector and M/s Pawan Hans Pvt. Ltd for heli services on Pahalgam-Panjtarni-Pahalgam Sector.
“Online booking facility shall be available to the intending Yatris on websites of the aforesaid Companies viz www.Onlineglobalhelicorp.Com and www.Himalayanheli.Com,” the CEO added.
He further said one way per passenger heli-fare for Baltal-Panjtarni and Pahalgam-Panjtarni Sector has been fixed at Rs 1500 and Rs 2400 respectively.
“The pilgrims wish to avail heli service for pilgrimage may not seek Registration through the designated Bank branches as their applications for purchasing heli tickets shall contain the required information and shall be treated as Yatra permits for undertaking the pilgrimage,” he added.
Such Yatris would not be able to board the heli-services unless they produce the required Compulsory Health Certificate issued by authorised institute which have been notified by their respective State Governments. (AGENCIES)
