JCB, 3 trucks seized for violation of lockdown

RAJOURI, Apr 3: Four vehicles, including three trucks and a JCB were seized by Police, here today, for violation of the ongoing lockdown in view of COVID-19 threat.
Police said that a team of police, headed by SHO Manjakote, Manzoor Kohli, was on routine patrolling when three trucks labelled as FCI Duty were on way to Jammu from Poonch. During search, the trucks were found loaded with natural stone after which the vehicles were seized and cases under relevant sections were registered at Manjakote Police Station.
Similarly, a JCB machine, being used for construction work in Nagrota village near Rajouri, was also seized and the driver was arrested on the spot. An FIR was also registered in this connection.
