POONCH, Apr 4: The annual festivities of Baisakh at Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch will not be held this year due to the prevailing situation where Covid-19 is still posing a serious threat to society at large.
Decision in this regard was taken by the Dera Committee and conveyed to devotees in advance so that those planning pilgrimage to Dera may postpone their visit for avoiding unnecessary difficulty of any sort.
Notably, pilgrims from Jammu and many other parts of country visit the Dera in starting of April itself for a big congregation where preachers and scholars from all over the country also take part to mark the foundation of Khalsa Panth. The committee member further advised the people to remain indoors this year and pray for the well being and prosperity of the whole human race which is in distraught due to this pandemic.
