JKPC among others donate towards J&K Relief Fund

JAMMU, April 4: J&K Paramedical Council (JKPC), an autonomous body responsible for teaching and training program of various paramedical courses in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, today donated a sum of Rs 2 crore in favour of J&K Relief Fund to support the Government in its fight against COVID-19.
The sum in the form of a cheque was presented to LG GC Murmu by Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu, Dr Sunanda Raina, who is the president of J&K Paramedical Council, in the presence of Atal Dulloo, Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education Department, J&K.
J&K Offset Printers Association (JKOPA) also contributed Rs 1,02,000 for fight against COVID-19. JKOPA president Sudesh Kumar Gupta along with other team members handed over two cheques of Rs 51000 each (in favour of PM-CARES Fund and J&K Relief Fund) to former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and BJP Organizational Secretary Ashok Koul at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Wholesale Cloth Merchants Association, Jammu also donated Rs 2,23,200 towards J&K Relief Fund.
Meanwhile, Councilors from Drass area of Ladakh UT donated a total sum of 95,000 rupees to supplement the efforts of the Administration in the carrying out COVID-19 mitigation measures. While as Councillor Drass Mubarak Shah Nagvi has donated an amount of Rs 50000, Councillor Bhimbhat Aga Syed Muhammad Shah has donated Rs 45000. The Councilors handed over the donation money to SDM Drass Asgar Ali.
