JAMMU, Apr 3: Various members today raised important issues during Zero Hour in the Legislative Assembly.
Mohammad Ashraf Ganai demanded early completion of construction work on bridges of his constituency.
Aijaz Ahmed Jan demanded on spot recruitment in Police Department in his constituency.
Ashok Kumar demanded bringing a Bill on 73rd Amendment in current session of Legislature for giving more powers to Panchayat representatives.
Mohammad Sharief Niaz demanded immediate repairs of damaged electric transformers of Balessa, Thathri in Doda district.
Prof Chaman Lal Gupta demanded immediate de silting of nallahs of his constituency as during monsoon these nallahs damage the property of inhabitants living on banks of these nallahs.
Harshdev Singh demanded uniform recruitment procedure for on spot recruitment in Police Department and asked due share to unrepresented rural areas.
Hakim Mohammad Yasin demanded adequate teaching staff for upgraded high schools of his constituency.
