SAMBA, Apr 5: Samba police has arrested four gamblers in the jurisdictions of Police Station, Ramgarh and recovered stake money of Rs 28,170/- from their possession.
According to the report, police team of PS Ramgarh raided the gambling spot at Village Kamala, Ramgarh and arrested four gamblers along with money of Rs. 28,170/- and playing cards.
The gamblers have been identified as Keshav Sharma, S/o Jagdish Raj of W.No. 08 Vijaypur, Ram Ji Dass, S/o Balak Ram of Kamala, Vishal Dubey, S/o Uttam Chand Dubey of Kamala and Ashok Kumar, S/o Tara Chand of Swankha Morh.
Taking cognizance of the matter, all the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at P/S Ramgarh.
The raids was conducted on the directions of Additional SP Faisal Qureshi.
