Digital Education

Sir,
This refers to editorial Focus on Digital Education (DE 1.04.2020). In a place like Jammu & Kashmir where 4G network is still not restored how can we expect to focus on Digital Education ? When almost 1/3rd of the world’s population is under severe lock-down and entire Indian population is restricted to homes , isn’t it a moral duty of authorities in Jammu & Kashmir to restore 4G Internet network so as to to ensure students don’t suffer more due to lockdown.
Our students have already lost their academic year last year due to severe curfew and lockdown aftermath of article 370 abrogation. As there was complete internet blockade for almost 4 to 5 months , the students had no access to online or digital classes. From last few months 2G network is working but i am even not able to even download the assignment of my kids from the school website for last 15 days. The digital classes and going through online lectures is a distant dream for kids of J&K. This is very pathetic and i am not able to understand why we are being treated like this ?
