JAMMU, Apr 3: City Judge Jammu Abdul Nasir today rejected the bail application of one Abishak Sharma, who was allegedly involved in fake degree racket scam.
According to the police report, the accused was running illegal business of providing fake diploma and degrees of various universities.
After hearing Prosecuting Officer Anshuman Dubey, City Judge observed, “from the police report it is evident that the investigation is going on and some of the accused are yet to be arrested”, adding “the allegations against the accused are very serious in nature and offence shown to have committed by the accused is grave. These sorts of offences now-a-days are committed against the public at large and definitely affecting the society at large and the confidence of the public definitely gets shaken”.
With these observations, Court rejected the bail application of the accused.
