JAMMU, Apr 8: Renowned Dogri poet and writer, Krishan Lal Mast passed away after a brief ailment.
He breathed his last yesterday at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Katra. He is survived by his two sons wife and two daughters.
Krishan Lal Mast was a progressive Dogri poet and an active member of Nami Dogri Sanstha. His latest Dogri book ‘Mast De Rang’ was released in 2019 and was widely appreciated in Dogri circles. Many of his lyrics are broadcasted and televised on radio and television.
Born on August 1, 1954 at Jammu, Mast was also owner and editor of first Dogri newspaper ‘Nimma Mohra’.
