DODA, Apr 12: A woman and a teenage boy allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in the jurisdiction of Doda and Thathri Police Stations.
As per police sources, a 40 -year old woman namely Nilma Devi, wife of Ramesh Kumar allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Barana village.
On getting information, a team from Doda Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to nearby health centre.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, a boy namely Khalid Ahmed Sheikh (18), son of Ali Mohammad Sheikh allegedly hanged himself to death at his residence in Thathri Town.
The body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites after completing all medical and legal formalities.
Doda and Thathri police have taken cognizance in this regards.
