UDHAMPUR, Apr 12: A young boy committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence, here in Ramnagar.
A police spokesman said that Raj Kumar (18), son of Baru Ram of village Talpar, Ramnagar Tehsil, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. The family members noticed him in serious condition and rushed him to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred the boy to Jammu Hospital where he died under treatment.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step by this teen-aged boy could not be ascertained.
Later, the dead body was sent for postmortem. The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members.
