SAMBA, Apr 13: To become a helping hand to her father in sewing masks for poor people a ten-year-old girl Chahat Kumari from Indira Colony in district Samba also started making masks for the needy people of the area.
The daughter of an auto driver Vijay Kumar who after announcement of lockdown has starting making masks for the poor people who can’t afford the same from the market and seeing the work load on her father his ten year old daughter Chahat Kumari also joined him as a helping hand in sewing the masks for needy and poor people who can’t afford to purchase them from the market.
The family is distributing the masks free of cost among the people in the area who need it and are not in a position to purchase them from open market to save them from the dreaded COVID -19.
Both father daughter duo is sewing the masks at their residence.
The girl Chahat Kumari said “since the Coronavirus spread in the UT, first my father was distributing masks to the poor people free and now I also joined him in this task”. The girl said “ I am making masks for those people who are not able to buy masks from the medical shop for money. I and my father are giving them free masks so that these people should cover their mouths to save themselves from Coronavirus and they do not have any kind of infection.
