JAMMU, Apr 13: To review the lockdown arrangements, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh visited twin district Poonch and Rajouri and took stock of preparedness and measures to contain the spread of virus.
He also took stock of preventive measures being taken for the police personnel deployed at sensitive places.
He was accompanied by DIG Poonch-Rajouri Range Vivek Gupta.
During his visit, the IGP Jammu held meeting with senior Police and CAPF officers to review the police preparedness to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
IGP Jammu stressed upon all the officers and jawans to download ArogyaSetu App in their cellphones for checking the risk factor of COVID-19 virus.
Later, IGP Jammu reviewed the arrangements being made at quarantine centers.
The districts SSPs gave the detailed briefing to the IGP Jammu about the preparedness and measures taken against the fight of COVID 19 in their respective districts.
