RAISEN, MP, Apr 4:Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj today said mid-term elections can take place anytime and the Bharatiya Janata Party is ready to face it.
“The United Progressive Alliance government at the Centre has reduced to minority and no one can rule out mid-term polls. The Centre is also misusing the Central Bureau of Investigation,” Ms Swaraj told reporters here.
To a query about film actor Sanajy Dutt’s sentence, Ms Swaraj — who is also the MP from Vidisha and came here to inaugurate a district-level programme — said, “Law is equal to all and there should not be any discrimination with a poor person and a film star”.(UNI)
