REASI, Apr 14: During the ongoing lockdown, pictures of a driver preparing food for him on the roadside and repairing road for taking his ration loaded truck to the destination are going viral on social media.
This driver, namely Chatar Singh, has been transporting ration to the remote hamlets after crossing 85- km long bad conditioned road, which connects Bagdhar area of Reasi with Mongri in Udhampur. While risking his own life, he supplies ration to the villages of eight Panchayat Halqas.
While transporting the ration to these remote areas, driver Chatar Singh faces a lot of difficulties, particularly in view of extremely bad condition of this road . At various times, he has to put stones and earth to fill the potholes for passage of the truck.
Pictures of Chatar Singh repairing potholes and preparing food for himself during the journey to these remote destinations for distribution of ration, are going viral on social media with comments appreciating such drivers besides the health workers, who are serving people during the ongoing lockdown.
