Donations continue to pour in for fight against COVID-19

JAMMU, Apr 14: To supplement the efforts of the Government to contain COVID-19 pandemic, Gangadhar Ji Maharaj Trustee Shri Dwarka Nath Shastri Sewa Trust with Mahant Rajesh Bittu donated more than Rupees one lakh in PM CARES Fund. Senior BJP leader Sukhnandan Choudhary along with Block president of Marh Shakti Sharma also contributed in PM CARES Fund. They submitted cheques to BJP State president Ravinder Raina and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Councilor of Sainik Colony, Gurmeet Kour Randhawa and Surinder Sharma (Councilor of Ward number 38, Janipur) donated Rs 11000 each in PM CARES Fund while Sanatan Dharam Sabha Jammu donated Rs 1,01,101 and M/s Sanitation Club Subash Nagar Jammu donated Rs 1 lakh to PM CARES Fund. All the cheques were handed over to Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor JMC.
Ajit Pal Singh, a resident of Channi donated Rs 1.5 lakh to PM CARES Fund. He handed over the cheque of the amount to BJP State president, Ravinder Raina in the presence of Baldev Singh Billawaria, chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Shri Martand Tirath Trust, Mattan (Anantnag) made a contribution of Rs 51000 in PM CARES Fund while Dwarka Nath Raina of Bohri (Jammu) contributed Rs 5000.
