No access to court complexes till May 3

JAMMU, Apr 14: Keeping in view the extension of national lockdown to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the High Court of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh has ordered that there shall be no access to all the court complexes in both the UTs up to May 3, 2020.
As per the order issued by Jawad Ahmed, Registrar General (Officiating), all other restrictions and guidelines will also remain in force till May 3, 2020.
Meanwhile, High Court ordered transfer and posting of four Judicial Officers with immediate effect.
As per the order, Ramesh Kumar Wattal, Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu has been transferred and posted as Chairman J&K Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal on deputation basis against the available vacancy.
Sanjeev Gupta, Registrar Vigilance has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Jammu vice Ramesh Kumar Wattal. Bala Jyoti, Registrar Rules has been transferred and posted as Judicial Member, J&K Special Tribunal Jammu on deputation basis against the available vacancy.
Sunit Gupta, District Judge attached in Jammu Wing of the High Court has been transferred and posted as 3rd Additional Sessions Judge (designated NIA Court) Jammu against the available vacancy.
