JAMMU, Apr 15: Member of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and In-charge Darhal Budhal constituency, Advocate Masood Chowdhary today appealed Lieutenant Governor for providing free of cost seeds to farmers because they are facing hardships due to lockdown.
He also requested to administration of UT to check on the accountability of the free distribution of ration for three months otherwise the department concerned is known to hush-up the rations and people wouldn’t be benefited in present circumstances.
He demanded safe migration of Gujjar and Bakarwals to their Dhok and Behks along with their live stocks and families and also allow them transport facilities to transport their live stocks and free ration to them in advance for their migration.
“Appointment of seasonal teachers to both community’s children so that their would not be affected due to lockdown,” he appealed to Government.
He said hundreds of labourers of Budhal-Dharal constituency are stuck in the neighbouring states as they and their family members are in tension and the Government should facilitate their travelling back to their home as the holy month of Ramzan is going to start from April 24.
