Samba police books 14 shopkeepers

SAMBA, Apr 15: To ensure complete lockdown in the district, Samba Police today booked 14 shopkeepers in 10 FIRs registered in different police stations and also registered a case against management of one Industrial Unit at SIDCO Phase 1 for violation of prohibitory orders issued in view of COVID-19.
According to the, PS Ramgarh, 08 FIRs U/S 188 IPC were registered against 10 Shopkeepers for keep running their Karyana shops during the day violating the timing slots at villages Jhang, Keranwali, Raika Labana, Gurwal, Chak Baglan, Barota Camp, Pakhri. At PS Bari Brahmana, a case FIR U/S 188 IPC was registered against two Karyana shop owners for violating prohibitory orders whereas two shopkeepers were booked in a case FIR U/S 188/269 IPC registered at PS Vijaypur.
One Case FIR U/S 188/269 IPC was registered at PS Samba against the management of Industrial Unit Kashmir Chemical at SIDCO Phase 1.
Police said drive against violators will remain in forceand stringent action as per the law will be taken.
