JAMMU, Apr 17: As many professionals across the country are sitting idle at their homes during the ongoing lockdown phase-2 as announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to contain the spread of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a mechanic in the hilly Doda district is extending all possible help to the district administration by repairing the Government vehicles free of cost.
The COVID-19 pandemic has drastically spread globally and hit India also. The Government and non Governmental Organizations are working day and night, keeping in mind the guidelines of COVID-19 issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Following all the guidelines issued by the District Administration Doda, a mechanic Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Kashmir, at present district Doda is extending a helping hand to the district administration by repairing the Government vehicles including ambulances, police cars, etc free of cost.
“I am repairing the Government vehicles free of cost to extend my helping hand to the administration to fight against the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic”, he said.
Around two dozen Government vehicles were repaired by this mechanic during the lockdown period.
“District Administration is putting all its efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and many Government vehicles are being engaged to spread the awareness about the Coronavirus among the masses”, the mechanic said, adding that by repairing the Government vehicles free of cost, I am extending my little help to the district administration to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din has appealed to the people to follow the guidelines issued by the Government and stay at home so as to fight against the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
