SRINAGAR, Apr 4: Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Abdul Ghani Mir today reviewed the security of South Kashmir in a meeting of the senior police officers in a meeting at Pulwama.
The review meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police South Vijay Kumar, SSP Anantnag R K Jalla, SP Pulwama Amit Kumar, SP Shopian Mumtaz, SP Awantipora Abdul Waheed Shah and DySPs of area.
Various security issues and over all law and order situation of the south Kashmir was discussed threadbare in the meeting. The IGP enjoined upon the police force to synergies their efforts in developing robust public relations. He directed the officers to keep a crime under check and redress the problems of the complainants within shortest possible time.
Mir also listened to the suggestions and the various difficulties faced by the force personnel and assured that their problems will be solved.
