JAMMU, Apr 21: J&K Motor Transport Companies Association (JKMTCA) today demanded installation of Sanitization Tunnel at Transport Nagar, Narwal to prevent Coronavirus infection.
In a handout Association President, Gajan Singh Khajuria said that Sanitization Tunnel is the need of the hour as the whole world today is under the pandemic threat.
“Even Jammu has reported many positive cases of Coronavirus and the Sanitization Tunnel can considerably reduce the number of germs on an individual,” he said.
Singh said that J&K Government should follow the WHO guidelines.
“Though the exact level of efficacy of Sanitization Tunnel cannot be determined yet other measures like maintaining social distancing, hand washing and wearing a facemask should also be continued,” he maintained.
