20 new COVID-19 cases in Kashmir, toll mounts to 454 in J&K 

SRINAGAR: The total number of Coronavirus patients has crossed 450-mark in the Union Territory of J&K with 20 more persons testing positive for the infection in Kashmir valley on Friday.

With this, as many as 100 patients, including 98 from Kashmir and two from Jammu, were tested positive for the infection this week so far in J&K.

An official on Friday said that 20 more people tested positive for Coronavirus in Kashmir division while there was no new case reported from Jammu. With this, he said the total number of infected persons has risen to 454. ”Out of 454 positive cases, 397 are in Kashmir and 57 are in Jammu,” he said, adding the infection has so far claimed five lives in the UT.
