Donations continue to pour in for fight against COVID-19

JAMMU, Apr 24: To extend their helping hand to the Government in containing the Pandemic COVID-19, the teachers of Doda district under the banner of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation raised the funds and deposited an amount of Rs 1,63,296 in PM CARES Fund.
Retired Deputy Commissioner and BJP leader Faqir Chand Bhagat today donated a sum of Rs 72,000 in PM CARES Fund at BJP office in the presence of district president, H S Pammi, general secretary, Akash Chopra, Ex-MLA Gharu Ram Bhagat and district vice-president, Ashok Choudhary.
Members of Arya Samaj, Trikuta Nagar (Jammu) led by their president Bharat Bhushan Arya contributed a sum of Rs 52000 (Rs 31000 for PM CARES Fund and Rs 21000 for J&K relief Fund) through Arya Pratinidhi Sabha J&K while Vaid Kul Devi Temple Committee Bhaddu, tehsil Billawar donated an amount of Rs 51,000 to PM CARES Fund.
Dogra Khatri Sadar Sabha, Pacca Danga donated Rs 51,000 in favour of PM CARES Fund. On behalf of the Sabha, J K Gandotra (president) flanked by other office bearers including general secretary Parmod Kapahi, vice-presidents Vinod Malhotra and Vijay Gandotra, secretary Sanjay Pandoh and treasurer Vijay Pandoh, handed over the cheque to J&K BJP general secretary (organization) Ashok Kaul in presence of party vice president Yudhvir Sethi.
Rakesh Gupta, chairman of Evergreen Education Trust, J&K, contributed Rs 21000 in PM CARES Fund. Likwewise, Sarpanch of Block Bhagwah, Panchayat Bijarni Lower-B, Omkar Singh Rana handed over a cheque of Rs 21000 to the District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode in his office, for the PM CARES Fund.
Kuldeep Raj Bhagat, Chairman, BDC Arnia donated a sum of Rs 16,100 through a bank cheque in PM CARES Fund. He handed over the cheque to former MLA Bishnah, Ashwani Sharma.
