JAMMU, Apr 24: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, the woman identified as Sunita Devi (24) wife of Vijay Kumar, resident of Phlian Mandal, was shifted here at GMCH on March 10 after she suffered about 30% burn injuries at her residence.
“However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 9:15 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites,” the official said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
