BMS demands ration for migrant labourers

JAMMU, Apr 24: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has demanded ration for the migrant labourers stranded in J&K.
Harbans Choudhary, senior BMS leader has alleged that no proper ration material has been provided to the migrant labourers even though their names have been given to the Labour Department which on enquiring says that the lists have been forwarded to the concerned officials.
Choudhary demanded that the concerned nodal and labour officials should be made accountable.
“The Prime Minister has provided crores of rupees for providing all necessary help to the poor migrant labourers but it seems that the Government officials are not seriously discharging their duties and poor workers are suffering,” he maintained.
