POONCH, Apr 26: With the burning of electric transformer at Middle Naka Manjhari village of Mendhar Sub Division, people of the area are without power supply for the last about two months.
People of the area who are facing lot of difficulties due to non-supply of electricity during these days when their children are taking final examinations, are repeatedly approaching the senior PDD officers but to no avail.
Sarpanch, Saif Ahmed Khan said that PDD officers have not given proper attention to their problem and they are being forced to agitate and block the road.
They appealed to the Chief Engineer PDD Jammu to issue instructions to the concerned officers at Mendhar and Poonch to immediately replace the burnt transformer and provide electricity supply to the consumers.
