SAMBA, Apr 26: CRPF and SOG of police conducted a joint search operation this evening in the border belt right from Kanachak in Jammu district to Hiranagar in Kathua district.
Police said according to information received from sources, the joint search operation was started from 05.30 pm in Tarnah Nala of Hiranagar, Chinor area of RS Pura and in border areas of Samba, Basantar river, Nanke Chak and Supawal. The operation continued till 7.30 pm but there was no clue of any infiltrator from any where.
Police said that this was a normal search operation which is done from time to time. However, in this search operation the drone was also used to make complete surveillance of the border belt.
