RAMNAGAR, Apr 5: Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), has termed the entire Budget Session of Assembly, a sheer disappointment for the people of Ramnagar as no burning issue pertaining to the hilly and under-developed area of Ramnagar has been discussed on the floor of Assembly.
During a public meeting at Dak Bungalow, here today, general secretary, PYC, RS Pathania, said that the local MLA has failed to project peoples’ demands like one Degree College each at Majalta and Basantgarh, a special package to operationalise newly upgraded Majalta Tehsil in a effective way, establishing a Sub-District Hospital in Majalta, Accidental Hospital at Dhar Road, Manwal and a CHC at Basantgarh, etc.
“Nobody talked of developing state-of-art road connectivity, provision of drinking water, electricity, human and animal healthcare, development of agriculture, horticulture and sericulture, tourism promotion, educational facilities, employment avenues etc in the area”, Pathania said.
He said that no concern has been displayed for the development and beautification of Ramnagar town and sound completion of the ambitious Roun-Ramnagar road.
Earlier, Pathania welcomed the new entrants in the party, which were mainly the active workers of Young Panthers.
