LEH, Apr 27: The Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal today flagged off four SRTC buses from NDS Stadium Leh carrying 100 stranded passengers to Zanskar who were stranded in Leh due to countrywide lockdown to check the spread of deadly Coronavirus.
The passengers were ferried in buses while strictly adhering to the SOP.
Wishing onboard passengers a safe journey, CEC Wangyal urged them to follow the instructions of district administration strictly while travelling.
He urged passengers to follow social distancing, hand washing and wearing of masks for a prolonged time and make it a habit until the battle against the pandemic is won.
ADC, Leh Dr Zahida Bano, Councillor Cha, LAHDC, Kargil Stanzin Lakpa, Councillor Karsha, LAHDC, Kargil Stanzin Jigmet, Tehsilder Leh Sonam Gyurmet, Nodal Officer Tashi Stanzin and Liaison officer Tsering Namgyal were present on the occasion.
