REASI, Apr 28: In its continuous drive against the drug menace, Reasi Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized 300 grams of cannabis from his possession.
Police Party of PP Talwara was on patrolling duty near Siarh Baba when they intercepted the accused, identified as Parvez Ahmed (28), son of Mohd Qasim of Kanthly, Tehsil Thuroo, District Reasi. During his personal search, 11 Chhallies (rolls) of cannabis weighing 300 grams, were recovered from his possession.
Police arrested the accused and seized the recovered cannabis besides registering a in this connection under NDPS Act at Police Station Reasi.
