JAMMU, Apr 28: To supplement Government’s fight against dreaded COVID-19, People’s Welfare Society (PWS) , Batwani Ganderbal in association with Municipality Committee (MC) Ganderbal launched a sanitation drive in the entire Wakoora tehsil to free IT from the Corona Virus where two villages Waskura and Gozhama were declared as Red zones after a Corona positive case was detected from there in the second week of this month.
The drive was led by PWS, chairman, Mir Ghulam Rasool in which the officials of MC, Ganderbal and activists of PWS participated and sanitized the every village of the tehsil including Wakura, Batwani, Nawabad, Khanpoora, Kharbagh, Waskura etc.
On the occasion Mir appealed the people to cooperate with the Government and stay indoors to defeat the virus which has taken a high toll all over globe.
