JAMMU, Apr 5: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking strict implementation of the provisions of Motor Vehicles Act with emphasis on plying of school busses and other vehicles, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur directed State authorities to submit status and action taken report before the next date of hearing.
In default of filling these reports, the concerned authorities will have to appear in person before the next date of hearing, the DB said and directed Registry to list the PIL in the week commencing from April 22, 2013.
