Khajuria donates two ambulances to SMGS

JAMMU, Apr 5: Leader of BJP Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria today donated two ambulances to SMGS out of his Constituency Development Fund.
The ambulances were donated at a function held in the Hospital premises here today to Deputy Superintendent of the Hospital Dr Dhara Singh. Mr Khajuria was accompanied by BJP National Executive Member and Chief Spokesperson, Dr Jitendra Singh.
The initiative was taken by him to help the poor and needy patients in the Hospital.
Dr Dhara Singh acknowledged the acceptance of the ambulances on behalf of the Hospital administration.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Khajuria said that it is his great pleasure to spare funds from his CDF for the benefit of the poor and needy patients. He said that he will continue to contribute in future also for such noble cause.
He also announced that he received demand for construction of a Sarai for attendants of the patients and he will soon undertake the process in this regard.
In his address Dr Jitendra Singh said that Hospital is under tremendous workload because of high patient turnout, the facilities and services are not adequate. He appealed the other Legislators to follow the example of Khajuria and contribute a part of their CDF to the Hospital so that the level of services could be raised to some extent. BJP district president Rajesh Gupta and employees’ leader Pardeep Sharma were among others present on the occasion.
