REASI, Apr 29: Dhansal police arrested a man along with illicit liquor, while two of the accused managed to escape from the spot.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, a team from Dhansal Police Post conducted raid and apprehended a man along with 5 litres of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Shinder Singh, son of Bhagat Ram, a resident of Khirab Judda B Tehsil Arnas District Reasi.
Two persons, who managed to escape from the spot, were identified as Raj Kumar alias Raju and Suram Singh alias Bittu, both sons of Paras Ram and resident of Khirab Judda B Tehsil Arnas District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 30/2020 has been registered at Police Station Arnas and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Dhansal Police Post SI Sunil Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Arnas Inspector Rajesh Goutam, SDPO Arnas Dr Satish bhardwaj, Additional SP Surjeet Bhagat and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
