JAMMU, May 1: MP Lok Sabha, Jugal Kishore Sharma distributed dry ration, face masks, gloves and other essential items among PDD and PHE workers of Ward No. 41 besides complimented them for their services to people during the lockdown period.
Sanjay Kumar Baru, J&K BJP Executive Committee Member & local councillor JMC organized the programme along with Ward 41 president Ashok Singh Wazir.
BJP media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP Jammu West district president, Munish Khajuria, Talab Tillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, district vice-president, Jaideep Sambyal, district general secretary, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, district secretary, Brijesh Gupta, Mandal general secretaries, Munish Gupta, Vinod Wazir, Jatin Sethi, Bhubesh Sharma, Jitendra Khajuria and Rakesh Sharma were also present.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, lauded the role played by the PHE and PDD workers as Corona warriors and said that the lockdown and other norms of social distancing could not have been successful without the active dedicated work by these workers. He said that these workers have been on the forefront in this battle, while risking their own lives and they have played their part well.
Sharma, said “On Labour Day, we must recognize the importance of services rendered by every worker across the globe and their role has gained further importance amid Corona lockdown, as it was not possible to sit with comfort at our residences without the essential services like light and electricity”. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken every effective measure to meet the needs of labour during Corona pandemic and Union Government will further ensure their health, jobs and other requirements during the difficult time.
Sanjay Kumar Baru, said that these workers have done remarkable job in the whole period of lockdown and the society is indebted for their useful services in the hour of crisis. He said that they have kept all the essential services running despite the hardships they have continually faced in these times. He also said that everybody is contributing in this time according to his or her capacity and we must honour the services being rendered by every Corona warrior for our safety and concern.
