CRPF jawan injured in grenade attack by militants in Pulwama 

SRINAGAR: A CRPF jawan was injured when militants lobbed a grenade at a security force party in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Saturday. A CRPF official told reporters that militants lobbed a grenade at Tahab chowk in Pulwama when security forces were being withdrawn for the day.

“A CRPF constable identified as Sumanpradhan, received minor injuries on his left leg and right hand,” he said, adding the wounded was given first aid and now stable. The militants managed to escape from the spot, official said. Additional security forces have been rushed to the area and a search operation launched to nab the attackers, he added. (AGENCIES)
