REASI, May 2: A youth drowned while taking bath in Ans river, here today in tehsil Chassana of Reasi district.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Qayoom, age around 28 years, son of Mir Mohd of Barla, Gota, tehsil Chassana. As per information, he was taking bath in Ans river and drowned leading to his death on the spot.
On being informed, a Police party from Police Station Chassana reached the spot and with the help of some locals, fished out the dead body, which was later shifted to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
