JAMMU, May 2: Government has constituted a committee to examine the pending payments to suppliers from each department and clear payments to supplies.
According to the order, the Committee will be headed by Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department as Chairman, while representatives of Planning, Development and Monitoring Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representatives of Finance Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representatives of PW (R&B) Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, representative of Jal Shakti Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary and representative of Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj not below the rank of Additional Secretary will be its members.
