RAJOURI, May 4: A Panch from Khorbani Panchayat of Panglar area in Khwas Tehsil received serious injuries after he was attacked by some people in this remote area of Rajouri district.
The police reports said that Panch Manzoor Ahmed, son of Mohd Qasim of Khorbani (Khwas) was allegedly attacked by Zakir Hussain, Mohd Irfan, Mohd Shafi, Razia begum and others when he was going alone to the nearby village on Sunday. He received serious injuries and was later shifted to Taryath Hospital. After receiving treatment there, he was later referred to SDH Sunderbani. The police has registered a case at Taryath Police Post. The arrest of the accused persons is still awaited, however, investigation was in progress.
