JAMMU, May 4: Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) has urged upon J&K Lieutenant Governor, G.C Murmu to conduct a CBI enquiry of all beneficiaries of Roshni Act and take strict action against those who have misused their power to grab forest land in the guise of Roshni Act.
In a handout Kuldeep Kumar Rao, MPEJ Member also demanded CBI probe into the appointments in J&K Bank and appointments by JKSSB and J&KPSC.
Rao hoped that J&K Lieutenant Governor will take action against the corrupt officials, bureaucrats and politician who have been convicted earlier but managed stay orders on arrests from the High Court and are now moving scot-free.
